Like most musicians of caliber, he began early, singing in a vocal quartet at age 13 - influenced by the diverse styles of jazz, rock 'n roll and his love of Motown and R and B, such that he was already penning lyrics and poems in his teen years. During his musical growth, Ron was to master a number of instruments, particularly guitar and piano, and with his natural leadership skills, he went on to lead many bands in and around Denver

Ron's stage presence reveals a spontaneous joy which infuses his every movement. Gifted with a rare combination of vocal and instrumental skills, he literally dances around the piano, punctuating his strong vocal style with a natural performance as graceful it is mesmerizing

Ron leads by by example - no one works as hard as he - and the band responds with an enthusiasm which effuses through every number. 'Miles Apart' rocks and it rocks with that solidarity of feeling which can only spring from musicians playing the music they love with a group of trusted friends.
